The Launch
It happened, it really happened! After the prep, anticipation and jolting awake in the middle of the night to write down or act upon a creative thought before it slipped away into the dark of night, our website has actually gone live.
While being a small E-commerce business getting lost in the shuffle of those who have done their time and found their way, we are the new gals in town in the beginning stages, yet it already feels so damn good!
It all begins with an idea, and we had just that! Watching the vision, you have created in your mind come to life, is thus far the most fulfilling part really. We all have those thoughts of how fun that would be, or what if, or if only, or someday I will. Well, that someday is today damnit. I took the leap of faith and poured everything I had inside of me to get a website up and running, sourcing products, working on creative branding and the list goes on. Went from working for someone else full time, then to part time to being fully on “my time” living and breathing El Nido Home. I enlisted a great business partner, Lauren - who has been there with me from day one - and here we are together creating a space to share the work of Artisans with a purpose (and then some!).
There is so much to come of El Nido Home and Retreats, yet we are going to live in love with what is today, be grateful for the milestones both big and small, and be RIDICULOUSLY excited for what we are building in the future.
